At Scott DePaolo Horsemanship, we work hard to provide well-organized, high-quality clinics and educational experiences. Because clinic sizes are limited and scheduling involves significant preparation, the following policy helps ensure fairness to all participants.
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot in any clinic, workshop, or event.
Deposits confirm your commitment and allow us to reserve space, instructors, facilities, and resources.
Your registration is not considered complete until the deposit is received.
Remaining balances are typically due prior to the start of the clinic, unless otherwise stated.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in forfeiture of your spot and deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable, regardless of reason.
If you must cancel:
Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the event may be eligible to have payments beyond the deposit refunded or credited, at our discretion.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable, as spots are difficult to refill on short notice.
You may transfer your spot to another rider with prior approval, provided all requirements are met.
No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.
Weather, personal circumstances, or scheduling conflicts do not constitute grounds for refunds.
In the unlikely event that a clinic is canceled by Scott DePaolo Horsemanship, all payments will be fully refunded, or participants may choose to apply their payment to a future clinic.
We are not responsible for travel, boarding, or lodging expenses incurred by participants.
Clinics are held rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe.
Weather-related decisions are made with the safety of horses and participants as the top priority.
No refunds will be issued due to weather unless the event is canceled by Scott DePaolo Horsemanship.
By registering for a clinic, workshop, or event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy.
